The intention of this webinar is to provide attendees with a multidisciplinary overview of the current and upcoming challenges of working in the prevention and treatment of obesity without unintentionally increasing weight stigma.

Dr Paul Chadwick is Senior Teaching Fellow at the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change, as well as a Trainer and Consultant Clinical and Health Psychologist with expertise in behaviour change for adults and children. Dr Sarah Jackson’s research focuses on behavioural influences on health. Maggie Clinton is a retired nurse who has worked with children, young people and adults. She chairs the quality standards committee and is the lead for monitoring how ‘wellbeing’ is ensured in the school. Amber Marshall, the founder of Big Birthas has been providing UK information and support for the plus-size and pregnant since 2010.  The event is hosted by the co-leaders of the ASO London and South East Network Andrea Smith (UCL), Simon Russell (UCL) and Moritz Herle (KCL), with the help of research assistant Joely Wright (UCL).
