North West Network event: How to have meaningful behaviour change conversations with adults living with obesity

This interactive workshop is aimed at practitioners involved in supporting health behaviour change in adults living with obesity.  Paula will consider psychological precursors for behaviour change, why behaviour change may be particularly challenging for those living with overweight, and why traditional weight management approaches are often insufficient.

The session will include practical strategies for fostering motivation, and opportunities for skills practice in a non-judgemental space.

To make the most of the session, we ask that delegates come prepared to share any challenges they have faced in supporting health behaviour change and be open and willing to take part in role-plays with peers.
