Reflecting on UKCO 2023

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Belfast for the ASO UK Congress on Obesity (UKCO) 2023 and to those who helped to make this year's event such a success. The event provided essential update, inspiration and gave rise to excellent discussion.

Special thanks to the Conference Organising Committee, led by Dr Laura McGowan, and the speakers and chairs who shared their lived experience and expertise at the congress.

You can view session highlights and insightful takes using #UKCO2023 on social media.

Browse all conference abstracts at your leisure via the congress dashboard - where you can filter by allocation and search by keyword.

One of the congress highlights was the visual summaries, which were live scribed by Chris at Nifty Fox. The images distilled the key messages and learning from congress. Our thanks to Queens University Belfast and the Society for Endocrinology who supported this session. View the graphics here.

Thank you to Queen’s University for hosting this year and the fantastic efforts of the team at Riddel Hall to ensure the smooth running of the congress, as well as to the UKCO 2023 sponsors and exhibitors who made this year’s UKCO possible.
