ASO sign joint letter to Matt Hancock calling for better alcohol labelling

The Association for the Study of Obesity have co-signed a letter with 94 other organisations to the Secretary of State, Matt Hancock to express our support for the inclusion of calorie and health information on alcohol product labels. The letter encourages the government to use this opportunity to include wider health information, such as the Chief Medical Officers’ drinking guidelines, to empower people to make informed health choices and reduce alcohol harm.
