Miss Anna Kamocka

Consultant Bariatric Surgeon Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust

Miss Anna Kamocka, PhD MEd. FRCS, is a Consultant Bariatric and Upper GI Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. She trained in general, upper gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery in London, Oxford and Surrey. She has completed a Bariatric Fellowship at the University of Rochester, New York and a Mini-Fellowship in Bruges, Belgium. She is a strong believer in delivering exemplary patient care through building efficient multidisciplinary teams
and providing high quality surgical education. Her research interest focuses on impact of obesity and metabolic surgery on type 2 diabetes remission. She is passionate about fighting obesity stigma.
