Dr Caleyachetty is a British/Mauritian GP/Family Medicine trainee in Coventry and Warwickshire and Honorary Associate Clinical Professor at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick, UK. His interests focus on the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases and women and children's health.
He completed medical training at Guy's King's and St Thomas' Medical School, King's College London and epidemiology training from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the University of Cambridge. Dr Caleyachetty worked as a Fulbright Scholar in the Department of Health Policy & Management, Columbia University in the City of New York. He was one of the youngest Advisors to the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Mauritius and during his tenure worked on driving substantial changes to the health system. He is a member of the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group's Obesity Strategic Council and is on the PLOS Global Public Health Editorial Board.
