The Association for the Study of Obesity (ASO) invites you to take part in an important online survey to help refine an obesity checklist for hospital settings. This checklist is designed to assist hospitals in reviewing their environments to address obesity stigma and improve patient care.
We are seeking input from health professionals and individuals with lived experience of obesity to ensure the checklist is comprehensive, effective, and supportive of equitable healthcare.
What’s Involved?
- The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
- Your feedback will directly inform the final version of the checklist.
- Your responses will remain anonymous and confidential.
This study has been approved by Newcastle University Faculty of Medicine Research Ethics Committee (Ref: 53010/2023, dated 14 November 2024) and is funded by Northumbria NHS Trust.
