Dr Sally Abbott

Sally Abbott is the Children’s Transformation Obesity Clinical Lead for NHS England, an Assistant Professor at Coventry University and Clinical Lead Dietitian at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
Her PhD examined the accessibility of obesity treatment in England and her research interests include nutritional and behavioural interventions for lifestyle, pharmacotherapy and surgical treatments of people living with obesity.
She is a European Clinical Fellow of the European Association for the Study of Obesity, committee member for the British Dietetic Association Obesity Specialist Group and integrated health committee member for the International Federation for the Study of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders European Chapter.
