This year’s ASO Early Career Network event is an exciting, jam-packed day, hosted at Sheffield Hallam University on Wednesday 16th September. In response to feedback from previous attendees, we have developed a programme that includes a mix of interactive and engaging skills based, career, and wellbeing focused sessions, led by experts in each area.
We will start later in the morning to allow delegates time to arrive and enjoy refreshments. The programme will then begin with a delegate led interactive “one-minute, one-slide” networking session, followed by an expert talk on wellbeing and burnout. This will be followed by a lunch-and-learn session.
In the afternoon, we will move into our Patient and Public Engagement and Involvement in research talk, take a short break, and then conclude with a final session on navigating career progression as an early career professional.
We will end the day with a lively but relaxed social event, giving everyone the opportunity to unwind ahead of the UKCO Conference on 17th to 18th September.
We can’t wait to see you in Sheffield! Apply here:
