Dr Rebecca Jones is the Head of Coaching and Clinical Research at Numan, a UK-based digital health company, where she leads the health coaching and clinical research teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based initiatives. She previously led global clinical trials at WeightWatchers International as Manager of Clinical Research Implementation, overseeing the design and conduct of large-scale behavioural and pharmacological clinical trials. Dr Jones completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge, where she also managed an NIHR-funded programme focused on scalable behavioural weight management.
Rebecca is a strong advocate for patient-centred research and care, with a focus on ensuring that lived experience meaningfully informs intervention design, delivery and evaluation. Her interests include equitable and scalable models of weight management, mental health, digital health interventions, and the integration of behavioural and pharmacological approaches, alongside efforts to reduce weight stigma and discrimination in healthcare.
She serves as Events Team Lead for the Association for the Study of Obesity (ASO) Operational Committee.
