Registration for the 2025 UK Congress on Obesity (UKCO), the flagship event for the UK Association for the Study of Obesity (ASO) has now closed.

Call for Abstracts – Showcase Your Research

UKCO 2025 welcomes researchers, clinicians, those in public health, and other professionals to present their latest clinical and non-clinical research to a diverse audience of experts and peers.

We invite submissions for:

✅ Rapid Fire Presentations (shorter oral presentations)
✅ Poster Presentations
✅ 3-Minute Thesis Competition

This congress encourages innovation, highlights new research, and promotes best practices in obesity research and treatment.

Apply for an ASO Award When Submitting Your Abstract

ASO is offering two prestigious awards to recognise excellence in obesity research and practice:

ASO Best Practice Award – Recognising excellence in obesity management and treatment in children, adolescents, or adults.
ASO Ken Clare (Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement) Award – Honouring outstanding contributions to patient and public involvement in obesity research.

Eligibility:

✔️ Must have submitted an abstract related to the award application.
✔️ Open to ASO members (Not a member? Join ASO today to be eligible!
