Maha is a Policy Officer at the Association for the Study of Obesity, where she supports policy development and public affairs work to strengthen the links between obesity research, policy and practice. With several years experience in Clinical Negligence, and having completed a Master of Laws in Healthcare Law and Ethics, Maha has a particular interest in how legal and policy frameworks can be used to bridge health inequalities.
To the role, Maha brings parliamentary and litigation experience, working closely with Members of Parliament, stakeholders and the public to provide strategic policy insight, research and effective engagement across a wide range of policy issues.
