Dr Rhodri King is a Consultant Physician with an interest in diabetes and obesity at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton. Rhodri is the Clinical Lead for the weight management service at Musgrove Park Hospital and is South West regional network representative for the Association for the study of Obesity. Musgrove Park Hospital is an EASO Collaborating Centre for Obesity Management and an International Centre of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery and has been one of the main prescribers for GLP-1 analogues nationally. The service also offers specialist clinics for post-bariatric hypoglycaemia and genetic causes of obesity. Rhodri been an Investigator for numerous clinical trials related to Obesity such STEP-1, REDEFINE-2, REDEFINE-8, TRUIMPH-OUTCOMES and PROGROUP.
