Dr Ehtasham Ahmad completed CCT in Diabetes and Endocrinology in June 2023. He trained in institutions like King’s College London.
He accomplished his PhD from University of Leicester in June 2024. The focus of his thesis was around the use of novel medications like SGLT2i and GLP1RA in novel populations like those with impaired physical function.
He is currently working as a consultant in diabetes and Tier 3 specialist weight management service at the University Hospitals of Leicester and is actively involved in various research projects at the Leicester Diabetes Centre. He is SCOPE certified by World Obesity Federation for management of obesity.
