Jules has led the unit in Scottish Government for almost 5 years and has worked across a diverse range of government policy areas since 2008. Her areas of responsibility are broad but within diet she is currently working on how policy can support positive changes in the diet of the Scottish population. Prior to working in the Scottish Government Jules was in academia undertaking a PhD in Astrophysics.
