Dr Andrew Parke is a GP from Northern Ireland with a special interest in obesity and weight management.
Andrew’s professional interests include obesity pharmacotherapy, health policy, and the practical challenges of implementing emerging obesity treatments within the NHS and primary care settings. He is particularly interested in treatment access, patient pathways, and the role of policy in shaping obesity service delivery.
As Consultation Lead, Andrew coordinates ASO’s responses to national consultations on obesity policy, NICE guidance, and NHS strategy, working closely with ASO’s expert membership to strengthen clinical and patient voices in policy development.
