Dr Jordan Beaumont is a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) (Public Health) and lecturer in food and nutrition at Sheffield Hallam University, where he leads the Sheffield Hallam Appetite Research (SHARe) cluster.
His research explores eating behaviour and appetite control, disordered eating and drinking behaviour, obesity and weight management, and dietary and health inequalities.
Dr Beaumont has a growing track record of securing internal and external funding to support collaborative projects, working with national and international research groups, local and national government, public health bodies and third sector organisations. His current research focusses particularly on the experience of living with obesity, and the impact of dietary and health inequalities on eating behaviour, dietary intake and weight management.
