Mackenzie is a research fellow at the NIHR's Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria. She is a dietitian by background and her main area of interests are food policy, and obesity prevention and management. Mackenzie worked with a team to conduct a systematic review to find out how weight management support in the postnatal period can be embedded into primary and community care. She will share findings of this work along with key messages for policy makers, practitioners and researchers.
Dr Rosie Dawson
Rosie is a Consultant Midwife at James Cook with a particular focus on obesity preconception and into childbearing years. She has recently completed her doctorate and will be sharing her challenges and findings from the LIFT Intervention (Lifestyle Intervention, Fertility and Togetherness).
