Early Career Researcher Event - Abstract Guidelines

Abstracts for the Early Career Researchers event should refer to work-in-progress,i.e., current research and/or implementation that is not yet completed. This will provide authors the opportunity to engage in discussion with other event attendees to gain feedback on their work. Please do not submit the same abstract as to the main UKCO congress.

We will select three abstracts for presentation at the event. If your abstract is selected, you will be asked to prepare a 10-minute presentation about your work-in-progress. Delegates with selected abstracts will also have the opportunity (optional) to prepare a poster about their work-in-progress which will be displayed at the main UKCO congress.

If your abstract is not selected, you will still be welcome to attend the event.

Please note that ASO encourages full disclosure of all relevant sources of funding in relation to abstracts submitted to this conference. If you wish to disclose a conflict of interest or any funding, please do so briefly in the relevant sections of the submission form.

All authors’ names and affiliations/institutions will be requested during the submission process and should not be entered anywhere on the abstract template.

Abstracts must be submitted in English following the guidance provided in the abstract guidelines that accompany these submission instructions.

You must submit your abstract by using the online form. Abstracts submitted by any other means will not be considered.

Abstract submission closes: 5pm on 25th July 2022.
