The Complications of Excess Weight service is a specialised service for children and young people who are struggling to achieve a healthy weight. We are a team of friendly and approachable doctors, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, a youth worker and a social worker. We are here to support our children and young people every step of the way so that they can achieve their goals and live their best, healthiest life. Our team offer a non-judgemental and stigma-free approach. We want to get to know the children and young people we support and discover what matters most to them, in all aspects of their life.

Membership is open to obesity researchers, healthcare professionals, clinicians, academics, scientists, and students who are working and/or studying in the field of obesity and to others who have a particular interest in this area.
